Banter #173: Peter Wallison on the 2008 Financial Crisis

By Stuart James

February 20, 2015

We’re joined this week by AEI’s Arthur F. Burns Fellow in Financial Policy Studies Peter Wallison, who walks us through what led up to the 2008 financial crisis, who is to blame, how the government has been handling the aftermath, and what needs to happen (or not happen) to prevent another crash. Peter also explains why his new book, “Hidden in Plain Sight: What Really Caused the World’s Worst Financial Crisis and Why It Could Happen Again,” was trolled by an angry blogger.
